Description

The job involves a high degree of diplomacy, tact and sensitivity as access to documents of a highly confidential nature will be required.

Continual liaison with both internal and external organisations is required as the post-holder will act as the first point of contact for all forms of communication.


To assist in the provision of an efficient, responsive and flexible service to support the secretarial team, consultants and their medical team, to assist in the smooth running, participation and efficient organisation of the daily routine duties in the urology department.

To ensure the provision of a patient pathway, which is receptive to the needs of the patient and responsive to Trust requirements and national and local targets.

A high volume of typing will be required in this role.
