The Launch Quality Centre Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Manufacturing Feasibility is evaluated in line with our clients business process.
Key Skills Analytical skills, problem solving, awareness of B5,
Manufacturing Feasibility issues to be presented and agreed cross functionally and the product style and design influenced to support Manufacturing targets & functional deliverable's.
- Analysis of final assembly feasibility on future programmes:
- Support concern resolution through business process
- Support for Control Build activities
- Identification and development of best practice principles within industry and associated industries.
Practical & Technical Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of component design, manufacture and assembly processes/techniques
- Strong working knowledge of design for assembly principles including lean manufacturing techniques
- Logical and structured approach to problem identification and resolution
- Appreciation of CATIA V5 and Virtual Build tools
- Appreciation of measurement techniques
- Appreciation of dimensional management analysis
- German speaking would be preferable
- Member of related professional institute would be preferable
