About the role
You will in charge of teaching
- planning, preparing and delivering lessons to primary students (3-11years old) who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will plan lessons based on the National Curriculum that are adaptable to the needs and abilitiesof the students in the class to make learning more accessible as well as carrying out interventions to develop speech and language skills. You will be ably assisted by Learning Support Assistants who will be helping students to engage in lessons you teach,carrying out sensory activities with students such as 'bucket time', helping with emotional regulation and behaviour interventions and encouraging social interactions between students. This role will be full-time, Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm during termtimes.

This role would be ideal for individuals with experience teaching students on the Autism Spectrum at a Primary level.

This role is suitable only for those who are Fully Qualified Teachers holding QTS (UK Qualified Teacher status or NARIC) with primary SENexperience.
