Learning Support Assistant

Full Time Position

Temporary position

The Governors of a Maghull-based Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to work with student within a KS2 class.

This role entails supporting a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis, and managing emotionsand behaviours, as well as providing academic support.

This is a lovely school with a fantastic and supportive team behind them.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is suitably qualified through qualifications or experience;
  • Has experience working with children in a school setting;
  • Believes in giving every child the opportunity to be the best they can be;
  • Enjoys being part of a hardworking and committed team;
  • Is highly motivated and able to act on their own initiative;
  • Is patient, good humoured and flexible;
  • Has high aspirations for themselves and the children they work with;
