Senior CAD Technician


Location:
Southampton


Salary:
£35,000 - £45,000

Premier Group are looking for a CAD Technician to join an expanding Engineering team within a specialised engineering company


The role:


  • Using 2D and 3D CAD packages to generate engineering drawings
  • Managing BOMs and ensuring all changes are recorded
  • Assist with the bid process and assist the project lead when required
  • Checking all drawings created in house and by third parties
  • Produce detailed GA drawings
  • Liaising across various internal and external departments throughout projects

Skills Required:


  • Engineering/CAD based qualification
  • Advanced SolidWorks skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Steel fabrication knowledge
