Job purpose
To provide administrative support to the Parish Clerk, RFO and Manager
Duties to include:
Undertaking administrative tasks necessary to effectively support the Parish Clerk, RFO and Manager including:
· To input data into the Financial Management systems including Scribe and Payroll.
· Undertaking under the direction of Parish Clerk, RFO and Manager the administration of banking transactions.
· Support the Parish Clerk, RFO and Manager in implementing Parish Council decisions.
· When required by the Parish Clerk, RFO and Manager attend meetings and take minutes.
· When agreed deputise for the Parish Clerk, RFO and Manager.
· Manage and record bookings for the Meeting Room, bowling, tennis courts, and other facilities.
· To administer the reception of visitors to the Pavilion including dealing with enquiries from members of the public.
· Assist with the administration of the Council's website and social media.
· Generally, respond to enquiries from Parish Councillors, members of the public and external organisations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £14.35 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
