Credit Controller

Leeds

Up to £28,000 per annum


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Controller to play a pivotal role in supporting our clients business by effectively managing debt exposure and ensuring timely payments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and releasing customer orders.
  • Ensuring timely payments from debtors and contacting customers for overdue payments.
  • Logging and resolving disputed invoices or account queries.
  • Assessing the creditworthiness of customers, including running external credit reports.
  • Collaborating with external debtors and internal colleagues as required.
  • Handling other ad hoc tasks as requested.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in credit control or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Familiarity with credit assessment tools and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Package:

  • Competitive salary, up to £28,000 per annum.
