Remuneration:
Dependant on experience and skill set with excellent earning potential.


Working hours: 8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday with two 30 min breaks. 40hrs a week. Regular overtime available.

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking to appoint a site-based Trainee Batching Plant Operator to strengthen the production team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a new career endeavour and has relevant transferrable skills.

The job purpose is to:


  • Batching the concrete as per bespoke mix design supplied by the authorised person.
  • Liaise with our Laboratory Team to ensure that the batches meet specification.
  • Carry out daily checks and maintenance of associated plant and machinery.
  • Maintain adequate levels of all supplies and products.
  • Keep accurate batch records.
  • Support and drive the process to ensure optimum productivity.
  • Cooperate with the winder company team including Factory Managers, Purchasing, and Research & Development as required.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Have good mechanical aptitude.
  • Have a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Have time management skills.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and think on their feet with a methodical approach.
  • Able to multitask, be hardworking and have high attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain good timekeeping and attendance record.
  • Able to keep the work area clean and organised.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks as required.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Overhead crane and FLT experience would be an advantage but not essential.
