Supervisor for commercial vehicle breakdown assistance centre

Salary:
Up to £30,500


Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern 07:00 - 19:00


We have an exciting opportunity for a technically minded Supervisor with a background in heavy vehicles or similar to join our amazing team Based at our Bradford Scania Assistance Branch you will support the Branch Manager and supervise the team of 17 Service Coordinators.

Responsibilities:


  • Organising, maintaining, monitoring the shiftplan including daily planning and attendance
  • Handle complaints according to established process
  • Monitor and control closing of complaints in a timely manner
  • Provide Service Coordinator cover when necessary
  • Support and guide Service Coordinators in their daily operation, take difficult cases if necessary
  • Monitor case quality and give feedback to Service Coordinators with the aim to create improvements
  • Responsible for the introduction of new Service Coordinators including planning and program
  • Responsible within the centre for training in processes, procedures and systems
  • Online training portal administrator including responsibility for monitoring progress of required training
  • Provide cover for the Centre Manager when necessary

Key requirements for the role:


  • College qualification preferably with a technical orientation
  • Sound work experience preferably from the commercial vehicles or equivalent industry
  • Experience in a technical role from the heavy vehicle or equivalent industry
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Very good IT knowledge including Windows Office (Excel, Power Point)
