Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist technical equipment with a wide range of clients based in the UK and Europe.

They are seeking to add an experienced Shipping Specialist to their current team.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice generation and administration
  • Ensure all deliveries are made in line with customer and company requirements
  • Liaise with freight agents and confirm shipping details.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to coordinate packing and shipments.
  • Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries.
  • Assist in key project work to improve work practices/streamline processes and cost reductions.
  • Completing shipping certificates / documentation and detailed shipment records.
  • Revenue recognition updates on invoiced sales orders.
  • Signing off freight / packing invoices querying any incorrect invoices.
  • Controlling all imports into the UK by providing customs clearance instructions to the necessary clearance agent within a small time frame to minimise storage costs.
  • Arranging the despatch, paperwork and collection of all UK hire/demos and exhibitions.


You should have an in-depth knowledge of shipping procedures (import and export) for all methods of worldwide transport and destinations.

Exposure to Letters of Credit is an advantage. You will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, both verbal and writtenwith a proven ability to manage relationships effectively. You will have a progressive and stable career to date within an international business. You will be a confident and outgoing individual, with excellent IT abilities including Excel.
Based on the northern outskirts of Farnborough our client offers a competitive package and free on-site parking.
Hybrid after probation.
