Contract Type - Open-Ended contract
**Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week

Moray House School of Education & Sport is seeking a UE05 RKEI Administrator to provide support for research and knowledge exchange activities.

The post is part of the School Research, Knowledge Exchange and Impact (RKEI) team and aligned with the School's research thematic hubs.


We are open to considering flexible working patterns and requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) combining a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.


The Opportunity:


The post holder will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of research thematic hubs, designated externally funded research projects and internal funds.


The post holder will provide of a high level of customer service when dealing with enquiries from staff, visitors, or suppliers.

They will investigate and resolve queries within a timely fashion. Confidence with organising events, communications, monitoring budgets including those of research projects, and general administration is expected.

They will be proactive in advocating a positive, supportive research culture in the School.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Knowledge or experience in supporting event planning and organisation.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience of producing external communications across a range of media.
  • Experience of routine financial administration including monitoring and reporting of financial information.
  • Proven ability to prioritise competing demands. A strongly developed sense of shared service delivery and customer focused approach
