We're looking for consultants to join our team and we are looking for fresh ideas and innovative minds to assist with some of the most influential projects in Financial Services.
The EY Financial Services Payments team is continuing to grow and develop unique advisory propositions aligned to market needs and demand.
The role will require an individual who deeply understands the payments domain, can translate business requirements into solution and technical designs, and deliver on those designs.
The Payments practice works collaboratively with our clients to enhance their ability to solve complex business problems by exploiting strategies and solutions unique to the payments domain.
- Emerging Regulations, Risk & Compliance
- Working with our clients on customer safeguarding, governance, compliance, and controls
- New Payments Platforms and Market Infrastructure Transformation
- Working with our clients to design, build, and integrate key capabilities to enable large scale structural changes for payment infrastructures
- Payments Modernization and Tech & Ops Transformation
- Helping our client with Fronttoback digitization of payments processes and journeys and E2E transformation delivery from strategy to implementation
- Payments Innovation and New Payment Methods Transformation
- Supporting our clients on the development of innovative services and propositions to drive new revenue growth lines
- Emerging Payments
- Helping our clients with the adoption of digital currencies, and digital assets
Your key responsibilities
- Help shape the technology decisions of our clients by guiding them in best practices, becoming trusted advisors, and advocating for the client's needs internally and through thought leadership
- Help identify and effectively manage the architectural impacts; including assessments, dependencies, tools, technical requirements, issues and risks relevant to projectrelated solutions
- Help define and document current and target state domain architecture and landscapes, ensuring broader enterprise target state and landscape architectures are considered and acted upon when required
- Lead on innovative proposals to clients focused on solving the right technical problems with our broad consulting capabilities
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A deep payments domain knowledge or experience in payments solutions, architecture, and frameworks
- A track record serving as a senior solution architect and analyst with the ability to translate business architecture into technical designs on large scale transformation programmes
- Experience with current technologies, and understanding of trends and implications on the banking industry, including cloud architecture & providers, integration tools & approaches, and artificial intelligence methods & techniques
- Experience of working in technology strategy, transformation, or cost reduction projects
- Experience developing and designing enterprise architecture with a focus on high transaction throughput and resilience, API driven, data management, monitoring, reporting and analytics
- A deep understanding of working with financial services clients to develop and deliver innovative payment solutions
- Experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders, contributing to workshops to drive strategy and transformational initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling, communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients
Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience on working on the most innovative payment projects using the latest cloudbased solutions; knowledge of payment platforms like Finastra, FIS, Volante, Form3 is a plus
- Knowledge or experience of payments systems, networks and architecture
- Knowledge or experience in areas such as Switch Networks, Payment Gateways, Issuing, Clearing and Settlement and Risk and Audit tooling
- Knowledge of DevOps with a focus on adoption in large scale organizations
- Previous consulting experience will be greatly valued
- Relevant technology and programme management qualifications are extremely advantageous, for example:
- SCRUM
- SAFe
