We are looking for a
Production Operative to join the Challenge-trg Recruitment team in
Hull, HU3 2BN.
Our client is a Global Medical Technology business with operations in 33 countries.

They develop and market advanced medical devices that help health care and professionals treat patients more effectively - and patients get back to their normal lives faster.

Pay rate and shifts as a Production Operative:

You will be working 3 Rotational shifts (
06:00amto
14:00pmand
14:00pmto
22:00pmand
22:00pm to
06:00am)
Pay rate
:£14.88p/h | Overtime after 37 hours
:£18.38p/h | Overtime Bank Holidays Sundays
£24.50p/h

Experience Required:

Must have 5 years + Factory and Machine running experience on high speed output machinery
Must be able to work 3 shifts (Earlies/Lates/Nights on a 3 shift roster)
No exceptions or special requirements
Working with a team of 3 (4 inc you)
Must be selfdriven and able to work as a team and think for themselves
Basic Engineering, HSE and technical knowledge would be a massive help
Must be reliable with no history of problematic sick / punctuality issues

Day to day life as a Production Operative:

Reporting to the Cell Manager your role will be responsible for safely and competently carry out all duties required to efficiently operate the film processes whilst continually improving our standards towards being a World Class Operation
Carry out line adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent product quality
To correctly record and use materials
To ensure correct stock accuracy
To carry out all testing to the relevant schedules to comply with specifications
Basic understanding of Health and Safety procedures and practices
Previous experience in food manufacturing would be advantageous
Communicate effectively in English (written, verbal and PC)
Required GCSE in Maths and English (Grade C at a minimum)
