Construction Logistics Manager - Data Centre
Location:
Preferred location in London, also available for Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
The Company
One of the largest Data Centre owner / operators in the world. With a strong presence across EMEA and with recent growth specifically across Western and Central Europe. The company are currently in the process of growing and building a new pre-constructionteam.
The Position (overview)
The role is a technical and delivery focused role with the responsibility of standardising and setting up all EMEA wide construction sites.
Working with the Pre-Construction, Health & Safety and Construction teams you will set and monitor site standards.- Set, implement, monitor, and maintain our site construction establishments and logistics expectations working with all key stakeholders.
- Accountable for ensuring all projects from expansion through preconstruction, construction, and successful handover
- Work with project teams, GCs and LLI suppliers to plan and mitigate logístical and constructability issues in a proactive manner
- Engage and input into the project management tools, risk register and project execution plan during the project implementation
- Ensure all project execution plans and specifications include a clear roles and responsibilities matrix, logistics plan and collaborative delivery mindset
- Review and input into project schedules as aligned to project and programme requirements
- Develop and implement a standard logistics information checklists and documentation
- Support the tendering and procurement of key project and programme elements within the preconstruction team
- Work with scheduling and cost management peers to incorporate logístical requirements and standards
Could this be for you?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Project Management, Engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience in the delivery and management of construction projects
- Demonstrate proven mission critical, preferably Data Centre, construction experience
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety and related regulations associated with construction projects
- Experience operating at a management level and communicating with stakeholders internal and external.
- Ability to work with peers in a crossfunctional and collaborative working environment to deliver on key projects and programmes
