**Accounts Assistant

  • 14 month Fixed Term Contract**Are you looking for a new job?
Do you have accounts experience or are you wanting to start your career in accounts?

Then this might be the job for you


Accounts Payable duties:


  • Check, code and process supplier invoices
  • Deal with petty cash
  • Check/record photocopier/printer logs
  • Deal with supplier payments
  • Raise intercompany invoices

Accounts Receivable duties:


  • Book cash off from bank statements and cheques
  • Write up cash books
  • Deal with credit card payments
  • Produce copy invoices/statements for customers
  • Credit control calls
  • Update customer accounts: on hold/released
  • Release customer orders
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Produce AR reports
  • Print and send customer invoices and statements
  • Run daily metrics reports
  • Produce daily cash report

Job information:


  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 8:3017:00 each day with 1 hour lunch
