Job purpose
To support the launch and successful adoption of the Client Lifecycle Management ("CLM") portfolio of programmes.

Assisting in the training design and roll out of a new Client and Adviser Lifecycle Management solution across the business.


The CLM portfolio is a set of large transformational business programmes that aim to enhance the client experience and provide capacity for our front office teams to grow.


The primary focus of this role will be to support the evolution of our digital learning strategy, acting as an ambassador and change agent within the business to support group initiatives and/or take a leading role in supporting the design and creation of training content for the CLM portfolio.


Key accountabilities

Project management and support

  • Work closely with the CLM Programme Managers and Project Managers to understand the solution being created, as well as understanding the underlying problems and challenges that the programmes are aiming to resolve
  • Drive the development of tools to support learner adoption using a 'justintime'/Knowledge Management approach, in addition to traditional training delivery methods
  • Encourage adoption of existing digital tools as methods of training delivery, supporting the Group in building enhanced digital fluency in working and learning
  • Gathering, analysing and using data to support learning and ROI measures
  • Coordinate different streams of content and activity in the preparation of materials and timelines
  • Support and manage meetings to ensure that the optimum solutions for the business are achieved, including minute taking, allocating and following up on completion of actions

Training design and delivery

  • Assist with the design, structuring and delivery of training content to support the CLM portfolio launch and evolution
  • Provide training design that supports the CLM programmes and follow a design brief, including technical structure and the Rathbones culture and brand guidelines
  • Develop, produce and revise training materials, handouts, user guides, and digital learning content as required
  • Lead a collaborative process to prepare and finalise storyboards to enable consistent and clear training structure across the key audiences at each stage, including support desk, floorwalkers and end users
  • Deliver effective training sessions accommodating various learning styles, experience and behaviours
  • Work with other members of the team to ensure consistent and cohesive delivery of key messages

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of training design and delivery in a regulated and fastpaced environment
  • Experience in defining segmented training approaches, training needs analysis and delivery of training materials, both facetoface and in a virtual environment
  • Experience in supporting the rollout of large technology change projects, ideally including a CRM system or similar in a complex environment
  • Financial services knowledge, understanding of the core processes that the Rathbones group are involved in
  • A good standard of English and Maths
  • Able to use Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Sharepoint, IT/systems literate
  • Ideally familiar with using Articulate, Storyline and Camtasia
  • Will need to be flexible for travel, and willing to travel across our offices if required
  • Adapt to work within a hybrid working environment
  • Experience in the Wealth Management or Professional Services sectors is desirable
  • TAP (or similar) qualification is desirable
