An exciting opportunity for a Conference Producer to join an established B2B media, events and insights business, specialising in the automotive industry


Our client aims to inform, educate, inspire and connect, they strive to give their audience a decisive edge, thorough news, insight, and intelligence.

Content sits at the heart of their business and is key to ensure that their audiences engage with theirproducts.

Working alongside Senior Conference Producers and sitting withina bigger content team you will be responsible for creation, shaping and delivery of 'conference/content' formats across multi channels, livestreams, digital and physical events.


Day to Day duties for the Conference Producer:

  • Leading on, creating, developing themes, topics, sessions and workshops for programmes in line with content strategy & conference format objectives across multi channels including livestreams and virtual.
  • Obtaining appropriate content for programmes and marketing (speaker bios, pics, presentations).
  • Identifying and acquiring relevant, highlevel contributors, judges & moderators for events.
  • Briefing before/during/after events, including maintaining timeliness, presentation/topic quality and relevance
  • Working, where required, with sponsors/commercial partners to develop relevant content/topics/speakers in line with content strategy & event objectives
  • Obtaining and responding to participant feedback.
  • Moderating/chairing sessions, where appropriate and agreed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider content team
  • Assist the marketing team to identify compelling messaging and ensure communications are accurate
  • Expanding and improving attendance of supply chain and logistics forums and engagement across channels
  • Working with Logistics and manufacturing content teams to identify key VIPs, themes and story/interview/recording across channels (events, print, digital, audio/video) and in line with the objectives of the content plan and calendar
  • Representing the platform externally, to clients and contacts across the automotive and logistics industries
  • Working with operations team and leading where necessary on overall project management of and delivery of events, keeping track of event time lines and processes. Keeping a view of event budget, and margins.
  • Supporting sales & marketing teams including as appropriate delivering copy & insight relevant to programmes and content that attract delegates and VIPs, that support sponsors, as well as pitches for advertising/sponsorship/content solutions.
  • Contributing to and leading on the development of the forward plan of current and new events, products and services across Supply Chain and Logistics and partner platforms.
  • Conducting indepth desk research, phone and facetoface interviews to scope out markets and topics

To be considered for The Conference Producer role you will need:

  • 1+ year Experience of conference production (both digital and physical).
  • Ability to connect with industry and build relationships.
  • Experience or aptitude for creating new formats through digital and virtual platform
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple teams; Events, Marketing, Sales and the wider Content team
  • Proven to be well organised and the ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Multitasker
  • Can do attitude

Package for the Conference Producer:

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + Annual Bonus:

Location:
Offices are in Hammersmith - you will be required to travel into the office 2 days per week.
