About Our Client:

Brighton based client with excellent benefits looking for a PA to CEO to join their team

The key responsibilities of a PA to CEO are as follows;

  • Manage the diaries for the Chair and CEO, using discretion, judgement, knowledge and understanding to determine priorities and optimise productivity.
  • Support with prioritisation of activities to ensure effective delivery and risk mitigation, including in their absence.
  • Be confident acting as a first point of contact for those seeking to approach the CEO or the Chair; representing the organisation with courtesy and efficiency and ensuring that queries and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Anticipate requirements and proactively gather information to support the CEO and Chair in completing their responsibilities.
  • Assist in the collation of materials for key meetings, identifying who to contact when information/materials are required and ensuring the CEO & Chair have the information to make robust decisions.
  • Organise international and national travel arrangements for the CEO, Chair and members of the CEO office.
  • Support the Chair, CEO and CEO office with a variety of grade appropriate activities as required or requested.
  • Provide informal mentoring and coaching support to less experienced staff and assist the Executive PA team in line with company values, including where appropriate and providing cover for them

The Successful Applicant:

The successful PA to CEO will have;

  • Exceptional, effective and respectful communication skills both written and oral with colleagues at all levels both internal and external
  • Exceptional prioritisation, diary and time management skills including forward planning and anticipation and mitigation of problems
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills and excellent teammate
  • High level of attention to detail and confidence to address errors in a timely way
  • High level of initiative
  • Proven ability to quickly assimilate information on complex and varied topics
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of appropriate MS Office software and an understanding of data protection and freedom of information principles.
