Role Summary - This role is a new position as we are a small company, this department handles the following: Invoices received from suppliers, right through to payment.
Matching up payments received against QuickBooks and our database system. Recording all staff leave. Checking all engineers timesheets and expenses, assisting with payroll. Booking staff on training course and updating the training matrix. Assisting with invoicing with the other departments and matching to quickbooks, managing petty cash, overseeing company vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities - raising invoices timesheets and payroll, Liaising with Purchasing for PO amendments to enable invoices to be loaded, Liaising with Supplier for Invoice Queries, Obtaining approvals where required for invoices/payments ,Reconciling statements, Checking and posting batches created by others, Assist the directors and other staff in day-to-day tasks and ad hoc as and when required.
Skills Profile - Attention to detail and accuracy Accuracy is critical, A mathematical mindset Working knowledge and experience of accounts payable would be beneficial, training will be given.
