1:1 BSL Teaching Assistant


Location:

Luton


We are looking for:

DegreeSix are working a large secondary school in Luton.

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant qualified in BSL to work 1:1 alongside a students with hearing defects.

The students will require additional and adaptable levels of support throughout the school day.

This is a full-time role where you will experience a variety of different conditions such as ASD/SEMH as well as other complex needs.


To be successful:


  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this)
  • Qualified in BSL
  • Confident and proactive in supporting young children with their SLD.
  • Ability to work well in small groups and 1:1, as well as assisting the teacher with the daytoday curriculum.
