TEXO Recruitment have an immediate need for an experienced Welding Inspector to join the existing team at
TEXO Port Services in Blyth.
Purpose of the Role:
- You will maintain and improve the standards of welding operations.
- You will be the technical focal point for all welding aspects of our business, leading welding process development projects and the upkeep of the company's existing bank of weld procedures and welder qualifications.
- You will be able to prepare, analyse and review welding procedures and recommend improvement measures.
- You will review and approve all permanent and temporary welders' certification / qualifications to suit each project.
- In addition, you should be able to research and introduce new fabrication methods and processes.
- You should also be able to oversee the maintenance, calibration, and records for all the welding equipment.
- You will manage / supervise the welding standard of permanent & temporary welding personnel
This is for an IMMEDIATE start.
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract
Salary:
£20.00-£21.00 per hour

Experience:
Welding Inspection: 2 years (required)
