A family run house builder seeks to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to join their business and assist on a development based in Ribble Valley.

The company focus on luxury detached properties built to customers individual specifications from a variety of professionallydesigned kitchens, fireplaces, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Assistant Site Manager Role
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will assist with the build progress, internal fittings and customer care on a luxury development with 4 and 5 bedroom detached properties

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager who has experience working for a PLC volume housebuilder to join a smaller house builder where the focus is on QUALITY delivering a high standard of finish.


Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):
" Supervise and co-ordinate staff, Sub-Contractors, material suppliers and Utility providers to ensure an efficient method of build to the required build quality and build programme
" Scheduling work to be carried out to ensure production targets are achieved and high quality of product is maintained
" Ensure that production targets are met whilst producing the highest quality of product and ensuring costs are kept within budget
" Effective daily use of appropriate company Information Systems and databases
" Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisation's goals and enhancing the reputation of the company
" Liaise with Sales department and customers to ensure the highest possible Customer Care performance/ satisfaction and complete all relevant inspections and documentation
" Direct liaison with Sales, Technical and Commercial departments ensuring that up to date records of all site activities are retained, thereby achieving cost/quality control; and report on the same to Contracts Managers/Construction Director
" Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company's needs.
Skills & Experience required

The successful Assistant Site Manager will have previous experience working on new build housing developments with the detailed knowledge of building process and ability to demonstrate good technical knowledge of the housing market.

You will ideally come froma trade background and will hold valid SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Card and Scaffold Inspection.

You will possess a 'hands-on' and pro-active approach to problem solving, have good time management and organisational skills with the ability to motivate self and others and work in a team environment.
