    Description

    Medical Field Service Engineer Role Overview

    No prior medical experience is required for this position, which welcomes applications from service engineers across various sectors, including those with a background in electrical-mechanical or electronic high-value equipment.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturer of medical imaging systems as a Field Service Engineer or ex HM Forces Engineer. The company provides comprehensive product training and offers good career progression opportunities.

    The estimated salary for this role is £45K - £50K per annum, depending on experience. The compensation package includes:

    • Basic Salary: £40,000
    • Company Car (Hybrid or Electric)
    • Door-to-Door Overtime: circa £5,000
    • On-Call Allowance: £3,000
    • Lunch Allowance and Expenses Policy

    Responsibilities

    As a Medical Field Service Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Servicing, breakdown repair, and maintenance of MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging systems at hospitals and healthcare centres throughout the Scottish Central Belt region.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you should have:

    1. Experience in maintaining, installing, and repairing high-value capital equipment, either electro-mechanical or electronic.
    2. Qualifications in electronics, engineering, electrical, or another relevant technical discipline.
    3. Impeccable customer service skills and a professional manner in customer-facing environments.
    4. A full UK driving licence.
