Express Recruitment are working alongside one of the UK's longest standing building suppliers who due to external growth are looking for the addition of an Electrical Engineer to join their team


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily routine maintenance and upkeep of all primary industrial machinery equipment on site
  • Ensure that the facilities on site are in line with health and safety regulations
  • Support and contribute towards continuous improvement activities to improve production efficiency
  • Ensure that all on site machinery are compliant in line with current regulations
  • Support the wide business in maintaining and improving engineering efficiency

Skills & Qualifications

  • Accreditation in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Experienced in the maintenance of automated timber cutting and profiling equipment
  • Proven knowledge of PUWER, LOLER & COSHH
  • Previous experience implementing various continuous improvement methods (5s, Kaizen, Right First Time)
  • Demonstrable team leadership skills advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret complex schematic diagrams
