Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Process Inspector to join the Inspection team that will be fully engaged and adaptable to their environment, will be a team player and problem solver, and enjoy communicating with other business units.
You'll inspect products ensuring compliance and engage with all disciplines within Manufacturing to facilitate improvements in product quality and process adherence.
Key tasks/Responsibilities:
Support business objectives by ensuring compliance with Quality and Process requirements
- Ensure that product or process issues are reported accurately and timely
- Record nonconformance within an ERP system and develop solutions
- Verify that required quality assurance documentation is complete and accurate
About You
- Attention to detail is key to this role as is an analytical and practical problem solving ability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
- Ability to engage others in improvement activity and champion best practice
- Background in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
- Experience in in a previous Quality role preferred
- Engineering Apprenticeship or Higher Education qualification
- Background in an Electronic/Mechanical Manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in Shipping and dispatching of finished goods would be advantageous
