Description
Key Duties

  • Partner with the Global Investments function to ensure full understanding of financials for their business area
  • Prioritise activities to ensure business finance deliverables are met to a high standard
  • Communicate efficiently with senior management up to ExCo level
  • Trouble shoot issues and work to resolution
  • Reporting expenses and highlighting risks and opportunities to budgets
  • Understanding the specific drivers of cost across each team and ensuring budgets and forecasts reflect approved spend only
  • Constantly drive efficiency in process and cost management to ensure resources are efficiently utilised.
  • Work closely with HR business partners to monitor and control FTE and contractors.
  • Measure business performance by:
  • Working closely with specific business unit(s) to develop and analyse relevant metrics
  • Reporting and analysing strategy contribution, highlighting key messages.
  • Prepare forecasts / budgets ensuring reporting is accurate across systems.
  • Ensure Finance processes work effectively and efficiently and make recommendations to continually improve and refine processes.
  • Actively identify and resolve problems that may be complex in nature.
Must have skills

  • At least partqualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
  • Significant FP&A or management reporting experience across multiple functions
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft outlook tools
  • A great teammate with a flexible, results driven approach; able to manage multiple deliverables without sacrificing attention to detail or efficiency of work production
  • A strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity and a positive cando attitude
  • A strong communicator with interpersonal and client service skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organise and assimilate large amounts of data.
  • Working knowledge of financial concepts and measures and an understanding of basic accounting principles
