My client is an award winning accident repair centre based in Luton town. They're a group who have sites nationwide and are always expanding.

Due to a recent expansion of their parts department, they're now looking for a new Parts Advisor to join their team.


If you're a proactive and customer-focused individual with a passion for the automotive industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent vacancy for you.

Experience within an accident repair centre will help when going for this job, but any experience in parts advising across dealerships or independent garages will be fine.


Responsibilities as a Bodyshop Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bodyshop.

Your responsibilities as a Parts Advisor will include:
  • Assisting customers, both internal and external, in identifying and ordering the correct parts for vehicle repairs.
  • Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure timely and accurate parts availability for ongoing projects.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and placing orders as needed.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of parts, while also negotiating the best deals for the company.

Requirements for this Parts Advisor vacancy:

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components, with the ability to accurately identify and source the right parts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customercentric approach.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a fastpaced environment.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
