This is a unique opportunity to work with a wonderful 27 year old man in his own home close to the Middlesbrough area of Cleveland/Teesside.
Despite his disability related to Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, he enjoys a very active social life and likes to be out every day with his support workers.
- One temporary contract (with a view to being made permanent if available)
- One permanent contract
- £13.68 per hour weekends (£20.52 per hour bank holidays).
- 16 hours per week on a rota basis
- Permanent contract following initial 6month probationary period
- Temporary contract with a view to permanent if available
- 28days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata).
- Experience in working with adults with disabilities/brain injuries is desired, but full training is
- Have positive, cando attitude and friendly personality.
- Dog friendly, our client has two large friendly dogs.
Our client
The gentleman is a fun-loving young man who lives in his own family home which is adapted for his needs.
He is very sociable, loves music and goes to the theatre regularly; he volunteers at a weekly hospital radio show and The Air Ambulance.
He thoroughly enjoys going out for meals and attending local events and attends two local educational centres, he also has a specific Physio programme which includes Hydrotherapy.
Your Role
You will join an experienced team of 3 Support Workers providing 2:1 daily support.
You will play a key part working alongside his family and a team of Therapists to support his ongoing rehabilitation.
You will follow his specific support plan, ensuring his welfare and safety are considered at all times. There will be aspects of personal care involved in this role and full training will be given.You will gain valuable experience which will support a long-lasting career in the care industry.

£12.63-£20.52 per hour
