Description
Our client is seeking a retail salesperson to join their fast paced, growing FMCG business. The client has an impressive portfolio of global customers. The overarching strategic objective is to drive both product sales volume, brand exposure and to increase market dominance.

Whilst you will be fully supported by the team, the emphasis will very much be on you to demonstrate your commitment and passion for the role and to show how you can deliver your objectives, exceed targets and help grow the business in the short, medium and long-term.


Responsibilities


The client prides themselves on delivering exceptionally high levels of customer service to its broad customer base of food service distributors, catering organisations and high street retailers.

Due to ongoing expansion, they are now looking to appoint an additional Retail Salesperson who has vast experience and recent connections with senior buyers positioned within the mass market retail sector and multiple grocers.


  • Report to the board of Directors with plenty of autonomy
  • You will inherit a number of existing accounts to manage whilst also identifying new opportunities to secure new business and revenue streams.
  • Be highlyincentivisedwith the opportunity to be rewarded well financially
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships to support sales growth
  • Driving and retaining sales
  • Drive distribution of existing products and new products
  • Negotiate all elements of pricing, terms and promotions within business guidelines
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products market position and brand strategy
  • Representing the company with the highest of standards at all times

You need to be self-motivated to work alone as well as being able to work within a team; you must be target driven, work well under pressure, be responsive to deadlines and fully accountable for personal and team objectives.

Full clean driving license.


Salary & Benefits
Basic salary £60k
plus bonus and a car allowance.
They will also provide you with a laptop and mobile phone.


Hours
9am -17.30pm Monday to Friday - mixed between the office in Sidcup and on the road (parking on site).
