Description
Accounts Assistant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity, working for a well established business based in Wolverhampton, with a view to start immediately.
As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for full management and ownership of the purchase ledger and day to day running of the accounts department.
Your duties will include:
Daily duties:
- Matching, batching & inputting purchase invoices onto the ledger (approx 600 per month)
- Setting up new customer & supplier accounts
- Raising sales invoices
- Reconciling purchase ledger statements
- Receipting goods received
- Solving supplier queries
- Month end reconciliation sales & purchase ledgers
- Assisting with Payroll (checking clock card calculations/updating spreadsheets)
- Flexibility to take on other tasks as required that may not be dedicated to the purchase ledger
