Description

Our client, a well-established nursery in Richmond, London, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Chef to provide nutritious and delicious meals for children aged between 3 months and 5 years old.

As a Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for planning and preparing daily menus that are healthy, nutritious, and delicious using fresh and seasonal ingredients.

You will also be responsible for ordering stock, minimizing waste, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Catering for children with specific dietary requirements or allergies is another key responsibility of the Nursery Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare daily menus that are healthy, nutritious, and delicious using fresh and seasonal ingredients as a Nursery Chef.
Order stock while ensuring mínimal waste as a Nursery Chef.
Cater for children with specific dietary requirements or allergies as a Nursery Chef.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen as a Nursery Chef.
Ensure that all meals are served on time to the highest quality standards as a Nursery Chef.
Keep accurate records of food orders, deliveries, and wastage as a Nursery Chef.
Liaise with the Nursery Manager to ensure that dietary requirements and preferences are met as a Nursery Chef.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Nursery Chef or similar role is required for the Nursery Chef position.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards as a Nursery Chef.
Excellent communication skills as a Nursery Chef.
A clean DBS check is required for the Nursery Chef position.

Salary:

A competitive salary of up to £27,000 per annum is being offered to the Nursery Chef.
