The Role:

Working in a thriving Accountancy Practice you will receive the training and financial support required to achieve your professional accountancy qualifications, whilst enjoying working with a varied portfolio of clients, in a friendlyteam environment, supported by highly qualified and experienced colleagues.


The Person:

The successful Accountant will have a minimum of 6 months' experience of working in an accountancy practice and will either be AAT Level 4 qualified (or higher) or they will be a Part-Qualified Accountant, working towards theirACA or ACCA qualification.

They will be highly organised, an enthusiastic and motivated learner and a strong team player.

Blenheim provide accountancy, virtual FD and relatedservices to a varied portfolio of clients within the Greater Bristol Area and have an excellent reputation for providing an informed and high-quality service.

Accountant (Part-Qualified Accountant or Trainee Accountant),
Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of annual accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
  • Assist with preparation of management accounts
  • Undertake a range of bookkeeping tasks
  • Quarterly reviews of client accounting records
  • Liaising with clients
  • Preparation and review of VAT returns
  • Company secretarial support
  • Adhoc support for the client managers
Accountant (Part-Qualified Accountant or Trainee Accountant),
Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience of working in an Accountancy Practice
  • Experience of Cloud accounting software, preferably Xero
  • Highly organised with the ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
  • The ability to communicate professionally with both colleagues and clients.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
