CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a
'Production Foreperson' in
Rochdale area, OL16.

Duties will include:

Take responsibility for a team of workers, whilst conducting relevant direct duties.
Ensure the smooth daily running of the site.
Responsible for the equipment in its entirety within the department and associated processes.
Work to manufacturing programme, monitoring productivity and ensuring targets are met.
Provide support in allocation of labour in order to meet manufacturing programme.
Monitor and maintain all quality controls and daily workflow.
Enforce and verify standard operating procedures (SOP's) are being followed.
Oversees accurate records of daily activities are maintained.
Performs inventory control and order selecting.
Collaborates with the Site Supervisor/Manager to ensure timely resolutions of issues resulting from plan deviations.
Ensures that quality of work meet quality standards and raises inconsistencies to the Site Supervisor/Manager.
Assists the team as needed without compromising primary responsibilities.
Conducts investigations.
Ensure that H & S requirements are met.
Ensure all work areas are cleaned and maintained to Company standard.

Skills/Qualifications/Training -

Demonstrable IT Skills.
Team Leading Qualifications/Experience.
Knowledge of MRP systems.
Educated to a high standard in English and Mathematics.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet set KPI's/targets
Work experience within a manufacturing organisation in the role of Foreperson/Team Leader.
Positive attitude to work.
Be open to flexible working patterns.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Excellent organisational skills.

Shift Pattern -

Monday
Friday
06:00 14:00 // 14:00 22:00 Rotating shift

Payrate
- £11.27 per hour
