An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Secretary to join a dynamic team within the Cardiology department


The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an efficient administration and secretarial service to consultants and their team within a clinical unit.

He/She will liaise with the multidisciplinary team, internal departments and external agencies to ensure continuity in achieving excellence in patient care.

The post holder will be expected to possess both excellent time management and planning skills, acting independently ensuring that daily tasks and ongoing workloads are prioritised.

They will have the ability to work under pressure and exercise judgment when dealing with tasks.

The post holder will ensure confidential and sensitive information in relation to patients is kept secure, and follows the policies and procedures for the Department and the Trust.

It is expected that He/She will proactively assist in maintaining high standards and professional practice. Closing date is Friday 19th April 2023.
