Description

Work as an autonomous, accountable Paramedic, providing a holistic approach including assessment, diagnosis and treatment to deliver high quality patient services in the home or practice.

Work closely with a wider multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, GP's, practice nurses, pharmacists and the admin team, to help triage appointment and home visit requests and see patients with mainly minor ailment problems either in surgery or in their own homes.

Use advanced clinical skills to provide education to patients and service users, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment.

Assess, diagnose, treat, refer or signpost patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or injury, supported by senior clinicians as needed.
