Job description


A friendly family run construction company based in Cardiff require a Senior Administrator to cover maternity leave which will be roughly nine months.

Previous Sage experience essential.

Previous experience in a construction environment is desirable.


Duties will include:


  • General reception/admin duties including answering the phone, taking messages, meeting and greeting visitors & filing
  • Inputting purchase and subcontractor invoices on Sage
  • Allocating purchase invoices to department codes
  • Checking invoices against PO's
  • Processing end of month payments to suppliers
  • Cross checking statements with Sage
  • Liaising with procurement manager and suppliers to resolve any invoice queries
  • Ordering miscellaneous supplies for office and site staff
  • Booking CSCS tests
  • Recording Annual Leave for 31 Employees on yearly planner board
  • Logging fuel card invoices
  • Keeping vehicle spreadsheet up to date including tax, MOT & servicing
  • Submitting meter readings to Electric company
  • Archiving files
  • Additional adhoc duties including booking travel as and when required
20 Days Annual leave plus bank holidays

Monday to Friday 9am-3pm (may be flexible) Salary is pro rata.
