Job Description Summary:

Interns will be involved in GE's ADMS (Advanced Distributions Management System) related projects, tackling problems ranging from analysing data to providing solutions for varied customer business requirements.

The product ADMS is an integrated product inclusive of DMS, OMS, SCADA, DPF and other systems.

Our product is installed in many distributions companies across the World and is leading in the growing market of Energy Utilities.

Our software solutions deliver reliability, productivity, innovation, and efficiency through a modular architecture, adaptive algorithms, predictive analytics, and a brilliant user experience.


Interns will be introduced to Energy & Power domains and will be guided on related technologies and software we use.

Interns will be guided by structured goals and will have responsibility to deliver in our ADMS projects.

Interns will be fully coached, trained by a mentor(s) and they will have a strong support network of experienced staff that are able to help them on technical problems, soft skills and time management.

The intern will gain exciting real-world software engineering experience at a thriving company which is committed to make an impact in the energy world.


This role would suit someone who welcomes challenges, works collectively as a team in diverse environments and is able to work with a mixture of new and old technologies.

Essential Responsibilities


The role requires the interns to get in contact with stakeholders, customers and colleagues in their day-to-day job which would require interpersonal, soft and presentation skills.

Such an exposure would help the interns to hone the soft skills under our guidance and make them more adaptable and proficient as they work with the teams.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Following Degree paths accepted: Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Experience programming in C, C++, Java or Shell
  • Knowledge of Database, SQL, Oracle
  • Versed in MS Office Suite of products.
  • Good command of English Language and appreciated if they know other European languages.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
  • Ability to accurately follow work process instructions.
