Description

To assist with the search, placement and booking of locum doctors, within the agreed guidelines and in a timely manner.

This includes liaising with service managers and locum agencies to ensure appropriate and safe staffing. Keeping trackers up to date with booking/approval/work dates.

Support the administration of the job planning process for the medical workforce including using up-dating the e-job planning system Provide basic advice regarding HR processes for leave for medical personnel.

Enter and maintain temporary workers data in ESR when notified of any changes such as right to work and professional registration status changes.

Maintain up to date knowledge of terms and conditions specific to medical staff, using networks and information supplied by NHS Employers.

Support with attendance registers and recording of undergraduate/postgraduate teaching session To deal with all telephone and face to face enquires promptly and efficiently, providing effective advice as appropriate.

Attend meetings to take minutes, distribute agendas and papers pre and post meetings in accordance with agreed timescales.

Travel between hospital sites as required to support medical staff inductions Support the principles of lean working, by continuously reviewing processes and recommending, initiating and implementing changes to remove waste/streamline systems.

To demonstrate how to use the electronic systems to new colleagues such as E-Rostering E-Appraisal and E-Job Planning using Standard Work Processes.

First point of contact for medical workforce in providing support in a timely manner Co-ordinate the administration of the medical workforce job planning processes Co-ordinate the placement of Locum Medical Staff across the Trust ensuring approval processes are adhered to.

Working within medical staffing/medical education policies and procedures and the wider scope of legislation relating to general and medical HR issues, provide advice on terms and conditions
