Do you have hands on Accounts Payable Management experience?

Have you managed a team of 6+?

Have you worked within a very manual AP department? and potentially supported on improving processes and automation?

If so, i have the perfect role for you

  • Support team of 9 on all day to day queries
  • Monthly 121's
  • Assist in team development
  • Implement clear AP structure of payment runs and daily tasks
  • Ability to implement a super organised AP environment
  • Participate in clearing backlogs across a complexity of different colleges/entities with varying approval matrix which will be standardised when they migrate to SAP next year.
  • Cope with extreme manual processes until implementation of SAP next year.
  • Add value in documenting processes which are not currently in place to support the whole team and other new starters
  • Have a hands on AP manager/a team player approach and provide support to other team members less experienced in Accounts Payable processes and controls.
  • Be able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines within an environment.
  • Drive compliance to a business that is going through the challenges of a fast high growth period which will require educating the business on Concur processes, adopt a supplier terms culture and correct procedures when onboarding new suppliers.
  • Provide good customer service delivery to all Accounts Payable Stakeholders.
Paying up to £50k DOE + benefits

Based in the heart of Brighton


Office based for the first few months to pick up role, team and business then hybrid 3 days office 2 days home.
