Description

Our client is a large group accountancy and tax practice. They now have an opportunity for a full-time Senior Accountant to support their Business Management division with accounting duties and wider client services.

About the role
This role would suit a friendly, motivated and professional individual, looking for a more senior role.

Reporting to the Partners, the Senior Accountant will provide support with accounting work for clients in the music, sport and entertainment industry.


Key aspects of the role include:

  • Assisting with the management of a large portfolio of clients, including managing client billing, direct client contact and resolving client queries;
  • Reviewing financial statements prepared by the team and providing review points for accounts completion, and to comply with relevant accounts legislation;
  • Reviewing VAT returns;
  • Preparing financial statements for certain clients;
  • Preparing corporation and personal tax computations, and monthly management accounts;
  • Planning anddelegating work to the team, while also providing training and support.

The ideal person
The position would suit an excellent communicator, keen to progress in their role.

The person should be motivated to work independently and as a team member in a role with tight deadlines, and be able to produce high-quality and accurate work.
