As a member of the UX Research team at N-able, your job is to enable those superheroes to do their job, and honestly, that's awesome. That's why we're seeking a creative, data-driven, and highly motivated Senior UX Researcher to become a valued member of our product team and to bring simplicity and delight to superheroes users.


As part of an experienced UX team of Designers and Researchers, you'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product managers, development, product marketing, executives, engineering architecture, and other company stakeholders.


What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with product teams and internal stakeholders, advocating for the voice of the customer and leaning into your expertise to advise on the best ways to learn from our endusers, and inform new features and overall product design.
  • Plan, develop and implement research processes and strategies within an agile development cycle, including annual research planning for your product area(s)
  • Conduct and lead a variety of research projects including online surveys, indepth interviews, focus groups, and concept and navigation testing, and "show me how you use it" sessions.
  • Document and communicate findings to product team members, evolving your research into actionable insights, concepts, and solutions.
  • Bring a mindset of continuous growth and learning, taking responsibility for deepening your practice and being open to exploring new research approaches and frameworks
  • Help prioritize research needs in a fastpaced, rapidly changing environment, and take the initiative to ensure that necessary research is conducted and followed through on
  • Work with other UX researchers in developing & maintaining customer relationships, as well as setting a common standard for how user research is conducted in Nable, and helping to raise the profile of UX across the wider business

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree (or the equivalent) in a humancentred discipline with a focus on research methods such as Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, HCI, or other social science or related field.
  • Strong background in product or applied research, ideally with experience in software or SaaS research and complex B2B environments. We'd love it if you've also had experience conducting research to support a unified experience across multiple products.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with UX research methods, approaches, and tools, allowing you to independently conduct endtoend research across the product life cycle, from the initial scoping and planning, through to execution and reporting.
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods (e.g., A/B testing, largescale surveys), and product analytics tools such as Pendo or Google Optimize, with an appetite for integrating product data with qualitative data to deliver a full picture of user interaction.
  • Familiarity with the SEER Framework and integrating this approach into your research planning to build a culture of experience optimization and continuous iteration
  • Proven project leadership and strategic thinking, with strong time management and prioritisation abilities
