Job Summary:

Macdonald and Company are working with this leading charity sector client in the recruitment for a Senior Building Surveyor.

As an integral part of the property team, you will support the Head of Property in managing and developing the UK wide occupational property portfolio.

This includes ensuring that all new projects are delivered on time and within budget, occupation costs are minimised and the retail shops and other locations are fit for purpose and comply with company, operational and legal requirements within allocated budgets.

You will prepare drawings and specifications, obtain Statutory Approvals and competitive tenders, administer works through to completion, carry out schedules of condition and deal with schedules of dilapidation always seeking to limit liability wherever possible.

You will be an experienced Building Surveyor, ideally degree qualified and have knowledge and understanding of the CDM Regulations, Planning Law and Health & Safety Compliance.

This role welcomes home working, with the need to visit Head Office in the Midlands once every three weeks. Contact Alistair Carter for more information on
