College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine / Institute of Genetics and Cancer /
Centre for Genomic and Experimental Medicine

Full Time, 35 hours per week

Fixed-term for 2 years
We are looking for a Research Fellow to join the Evans Group.


The Opportunity:


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • PhD (or thesis submitted/near submission) in neuroscience.
  • Culture of iPSCs and neuronal derivatives thereof.
  • Fluorescence microscopy
  • Phenotypic assay development
  • M olecular and cell biology techniques
  • Knowledge of neurodegenerative disorders
  • Ability to cooperate and contribute as part of a team, in addition to the ability to drive a research programme independent of daily supervision.
  • Ability and willingness to teach and supervise students and others
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed
