JOB OVERVIEW

Based at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, we are looking to recruit a static experienced Multi Skilled Technician to join an experienced, versatile team, delivering first-class services to our world-class Armed Forces personnel.

The role will be responsible for carrying out a range of general maintenance, fabric maintenance, business support and janitorial tasks.

Main Duties

First line response to reactive repairs make safe and isolate.
Minor building fabric repairs
Minor decorating tasks
Minor plumbing repairs
Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders.
Comply fully with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Provide excellent customer service to building occupant/custodian, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner.
Liaise with client on site.
Assist other team members on works, when required.
Report on all jobs, once attended. (Within 1 hour)
Occasional collection of parts/goods from suppliers (Line Manager to authorise)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

ESSENTIAL

Experience of building maintenance, handyperson or janitorial duties
Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment
Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management.
Keyboard skills and basic computer literacy
Excellent timekeeping/time management

DESIRABLE

Fire Warden Trained
First Aid Trained
IOSH working safely.
IPAF Certified
PASMA Certified

Personal Qualities & Behaviors**
Additional Information

MOD security clearance and DBS Standards are required. To meet national security vetting requirements, you will normally need to have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years to gain Security Clearance
Proof of right to work in the UK essential
The Contract operates a 40hour working week between the hours of 0800 and 1700 Mon to Fri.
Required to wear approved company work wear.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
