IRC Healthcare Assistant Pay Rate:
£ £20.65 p/h PAYE with holiday pay included

Main duties:

Support the provision of a high standard of health care to patients in prison under the guidance of the Senior Clinical Team and Head of Health Care.
Administer medication under a patientspecific direction with the supervision of a registered healthcare professional.
Work collaboratively with the team to meet the needs of patients with specified longterm conditions by providing quality evidencebased care.
Working shifts that involve Constant Watch of patients that require 24/7 supervision due to risk or selfharm and other physical/mental health conditions.
Aware of and act upon, where necessary, the procedures in place to protect vulnerable individuals.
Assist with clerical and administrative duties as required.
Ensure privacy and dignity are maintained.
Support the promotion of health and wellbeing of clients.
Undertake clinical interventions as delegated by a senior team member.

Requirements of the IRC Healthcare Assistant:

Recent experience working as an HCA, Healthcare Assistant
Prison clearance is ideal but not essential
