Description

The role of Fleet Delivery Supervisor (Internal) requires you to direct, motivate & work with your team to ensure our motorhomes are ready for hire as per business requirements.

Working alongside the External Fleet Delivery Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the Internal Fleet Delivery Assistants, ensuring that the team have the resource, equipment and training necessary to carry out their roles to the highest of standards.


The role:


  • Recruitment, allocation and organisation of internal casual staff to meet the business needs
  • Training of internal casual and permanent staff in internal cleaning standards
  • Management of staff holiday requests
  • Performance management including probation reviews, staff appraisals and quarterly assessments
  • Internal precheckout inspections (IPCI)
  • Minor fixes (internal)
  • Liaise with workshop & logistics to ensure repair of major fixes before vehicle next on hire.
  • Wash bay duties
  • Quality control checks of vehicles
  • Responsible for the cleaning of vehicles during off peak season
  • Vehicle movements, internal and offsite
  • Weekly stocktake
  • Manage extras for FOH
  • Opening and closing of depot responsibilities on a rota basis (peak periods; hours between 8:00am 6:30pm)
  • Coordinate, prioritise and schedule team and tasks to ensure the timely delivery of motorhomes
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with the team, External Fleet Delivery Supervisor and Fleet Delivery Manager to ensure tasks are on track for meeting SLA
  • Ensure health and safety through improving and then maintaining the wash bay, barn and yard areas
  • Work with External Fleet Delivery Supervisor to manage THL workflow and Sales work flow
  • Undertake vehicle relocations and vehicle swaps
  • Organise and oversee the Italy preparation workflow at both LCY & PSA
  • Maintain yard map & ensure EOD stock take is correct
  • Provide support to the Fleet Delivery Team Leader in their absence
  • Maintain realtime to ensure relevant data is accurate and accessible companywide
  • Attend weekly operations meetings

  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Good attention to detail and understanding of systems, processes and their importance
  • Experienced working at all levels, demonstrating strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to train and provide feedback to employees to create a strong workforce
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service demonstrating business focus and a desire to succeed beyond what is expected
  • Resilient and flexible and able to work in a fast paced and dynamic demanding environment
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to regroup at short notice
  • Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
  • Full UK driver's license with more than 2 years driving experience
