QUALITY ADMINISTRATOR
Outskirts of Cardiff
Permanent Full Time - Mon - Thurs 8am - 4:30pm - Fri - 7:30am - 2pm
Salary £26K Negotiable dep on experienceHawk 3 Recruitment are working with a specialist manufacturer based on the outskirts of Cardiff to recruit a Quality Administrator to join their company on a permanent basis. Job Purpose:
- To ensure production standards are met and maintained for products, before they leave site.
- Maintain Quality Management Systems including document control, review and create documents, work instructions, dashboards and other quality administrative tasks.
- Perform inspections on random samples in production, identify defects in the manufacturing process, record and report them.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out inprocess quality inspections and audits.
- Identifying and reporting nonconformities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and 14001 and H&S.
- Measuring equipment control and calibration.
- Assist in nonconformance system maintenance.
- Assist in Quality Management Systems maintenance:
- Document control.
- Maintain quality dashboards up to date.
- Maintain quality documentation up to date.
- Create/update standard operating procedures where required.
- Provide quality procedures training where required.
- Participate in improvement projects.
- Support Quality Manager in internal and external audit preparation.
- Deal/provide support with daytoday quality issues.
- Ensure product compliance to required standards.
- Holiday / sickness cover for process controllers (shift work might be required).
Competencies:
- Attention to detail is essential
- Experience of working in manufacturing environment
- Understanding of technical drawings (desirable)
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 1400
- Computer literate experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Essential.
- Experience of using manual measuring equipment
- DFT gauges, gloss meters etc. (desirable).
