Description

Rodenstock are seeking an Operative to work as part of the Production team to assist the company to achieve targets and maintain high quality products.

Internal training will be provided into all aspects of the department. Optical Technician background preferred but not mandatory.


You will be required to:

  • Assemble optical lenses into spectacles to meet British Standards.
  • To clean and quality inspect the glazed spectacles.
  • Calibrate and maintain the cutting machines before morning production starts.
  • Learn other aspects of the production process as required, and to follow the training path to becoming a Skilled Lab Technician.

The requirements for the Production Operative are:

  • Good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent handeye coordination.
  • Excellent punctuality.
  • Once fully trained working an early shift of 6am 2pm.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Pay:
£23,795.20 per year
