**PMO Manager, Enterprise Data Tech
Contract length/end date: 6 months - 26th August 2023
Rate £ per day via umbrella company**
Hybrid/London

Role description:

Manages a Portfolio Management Office for a key delivery portfolio, managing governance, risk, financials, and reporting and drives a consistent and effective approach to project and programme management.


Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:


  • Tracks the portfolio pipeline, providing accurate resource demand and supply data to drive resource optimisation
  • Prepares and distributes portfolio status reports, keeping management appraised of portfolio progress, major risks and issues and scope and resource changes
  • Manages the annual portfolio budget request process and regular financial reviews to track key financial portfolio metrics
  • Maintains and creates visibility around the holistic portfolio health and reporting, tracking, and reducing delivery risk at a programme and portfolio level
  • Ensures adherence to project management standards and frameworks, governance procedures and standard templates
  • Creates and maintains a change roadmap for the portfolio and is responsible for the implementation of change management processes, policies, and best practice
  • Leads the induction and training of all new project managers within the portfolio.
  • Drive any adhoc tasks assigned by other Tech and/or Support organization

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Significant previous PMO experience in a portfolio, project or programme management environment.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong analytical skills
This role is critical from a Portfolio Delivery Management support perspective.
