Exeter Supply Partnership (ESP) is a not-for-profit organisation, providing a supply service to a growing number of primary schools across Devon and Torbay.

Set up by schools, ESP is the preferred choice for many schools in the area and word is spreading.

We are regularly being contacted by new schools wanting to access our services due to our ethos and non-commercial approach to providing supply cover.

ESP are recruiting primary teachers who are friendly, professional, hardworking and committed to doing their best for all pupils, even if they are only there for one day


What do we offer our supply teachers?

• Flexibility a personal calendar system for setting your own availability whether that is for 5 days a week or 3 days a month
• Ability to set your own preferences travel, year groups and contact times
• Location opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Devon and Torbay, within your preferred travel area
• Varied opportunities whether you are interested in day to day work, short term cover arrangements or progression to permanent employment, we offer it all
• Clear rates of pay for all teachers, paid through PAYE (no umbrella companies) increased rate for long term cover, where there are additional expectations
• Professional development access to free training, both online and in person, such as safeguarding, Forest school workshops and curriculum updates
• An organisation with the best interests of schools and teachers at the centre of its service through regular meetings with both schools and teachers we strive to do all we can for the benefit of the people we work withand ensure positive experiencesare had by all
• Supportive and friendly office team we pride ourselves on being friendly, helpful and approachable, doing our best for our schools and teachers

• There are no hidden fees for schools
• Schools are not charged 'finders' or 'introduction' fees when they find an amazing teacher that they want to employ
• Staff do not work on commission or targets
• We have not increased our margin since launching in 2016 (and don't plan to)
• Any surplus is reinvested to benefit our schools and teachers
